Example
Imagine your company makes a payment of $15,727.51. We calculate a release percentage for this payment based on your account, then free up that share as available credit right away. In this example it’s 70%, and the rest becomes available once your bank clears the payment.
After a payment, part of your credit is already available and the rest is waiting to settle
| Payment on 01 Nov 2026 | $15,727.51 |
| Early credit release for this payment | 70% |
| Released right away | $11,009.26 |
| Released once the payment clears | $4,718.25 on 03 Nov 2026, 1:06 PM ET |
What makes early credit release more likely
A few things influence whether we release part of a payment early and how much. You’re more likely to see credit released when you:- Connect more of your bank accounts
- Keep strong balances across them
- Stay current with no past-due balances
